Udaipur has three Viraalay houses that take a group of fifteen or more, and they are not interchangeable. Kvanya Mansion is the luxury one, closest to the airport, with a home theatre and a lift. The Brindha Villa is the biggest and the most rural, built for families with children. The Horizon Villa is the balanced middle, five bedrooms with two living rooms and the shortest drive to Shilpgram. Group size alone will not choose between them.

The three houses at a glance
Kvanya Mansion, Debari
Five bedrooms, five bathrooms, up to fifteen guests. From ₹55,000 a night. Roughly 11 km from Maharana Pratap Airport, which makes it the easiest arrival of the three, and about 16 km from City Palace.
This is the one people book when the stay itself is the occasion. There is a lift, which matters more than it sounds when the group includes grandparents. A home theatre with a projector and surround sound. A gym and a dedicated yoga space. A spa and sauna. A library. A sunken games pit with a combination pool and table tennis table set against full-height windows. A pool with an outdoor shower and loungers. A ten-seater dining table in the Shahi Rasoi. Bedrooms carry Mewar names, Sheesh Darbar, Mewar Majesty, Fateh Harbour, Chandra Mahal, Aravalli Heights, and two of them sit on the ground floor with private patios and workstations.
Book it for: a milestone anniversary, an NRI family reunion, a group where two people will want to work and the rest will not, and anyone travelling with senior citizens who should not be climbing stairs.
The Brindha Villa, Kasniyawad
Six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, up to twenty guests. From ₹26,000 a night. About 38 km from the airport and 23 km from City Palace, which makes it the furthest out and the most genuinely rural.
A freshwater stream runs past the front of the house. There is a private volleyball court, a large pool, an outdoor fireplace, a kids' corner and an outdoor play area, an island kitchen and a patio overlooking the garden. Several bedrooms have jharokha-style seating built into the window. Two living rooms, so a board game and a nap can happen simultaneously.
Book it for: cousins' groups with children, a three-day family gathering where nobody plans to leave the property, and anyone who wants a bonfire that runs late without a neighbour twenty metres away. It is also the best rate per head in the portfolio by a distance.
The Horizon Villa, Badi Hawala Road
Five bedrooms, up to fifteen guests. From ₹22,000 a night. About 27 km from the airport, 8.5 km from City Palace, 6.2 km from Fateh Sagar and 2.5 km from Shilpgram, which is the shortest run into the city of the three.
Two living rooms of roughly 450 square feet each, one on each floor, the ground-floor one with a 75-inch TV and direct pool access. An eight-seater dining area with an indoor bar. A 350 square foot pool with a light fountain and a separate children's pool. An 800 square foot garden with a wooden lounge swing. Three bedrooms upstairs with balconies and study spaces, two downstairs including one opening onto the garden.
Book it for: a group that wants a villa but also wants to actually see Udaipur. The city is close enough that morning sightseeing and an afternoon by the pool both fit into one day.
Cost per person, which is the number that matters
Villas are priced for the whole property, so the per-head figure falls as the group grows. At full occupancy and base rates, before meals and taxes:
- The Brindha Villa, twenty guests, from ₹26,000: around ₹1,300 per person per night.
- The Horizon Villa, fifteen guests, from ₹22,000: around ₹1,470 per person per night.
- Kvanya Mansion, fifteen guests, from ₹55,000: around ₹3,670 per person per night.
Those are base-season figures and rates move with the calendar, so treat them as shape rather than quote. The point holds regardless: a half-empty villa is expensive and a full one is not. Eight people in a six-bedroom house pay far more each than eighteen people in the same house.
Choosing, in three questions
How far is the group willing to drive? If the plan involves City Palace, Sajjangarh and the ghats on consecutive days, Brindha's 23 km each way will wear thin. Horizon is the answer. If the group intends to stay put, distance stops mattering and Brindha becomes the best value in Udaipur.
Who is in the group? Small children point to Brindha, with its play area, kids' corner and volleyball court. Elderly parents point to Kvanya, because of the lift and the ground-floor bedrooms. A mixed group of adults works anywhere.
Is the house the occasion, or the base? If people will remember the home theatre and the spa, Kvanya earns its rate. If the house is where you sleep between outings, paying for a home theatre nobody switches on is a waste.
What applies at all three
- Check-in 2:00 PM, check-out 11:00 AM.
- Pure vegetarian kitchens. Breakfast included; lunch, dinner and high tea on request with twenty-four hours' notice. Jain, satvik and no-onion-no-garlic all handled if flagged in advance.
- Tariffs are set on standard occupancy. Guests beyond that attract an additional charge and need approval in advance, so give us the real headcount including children at the time of booking.
- Pets are not permitted.
- Noise levels between 10 PM and 7 AM. These are homes in residential surroundings, not event venues. Celebrations are welcome; loud parties are not.
- Smoking in designated areas only, and chewing tobacco is prohibited across the property.
- Pool water is cold from late October to mid-February. Ask about heating before you assume otherwise.
Booking notes
For December, January and the November and February wedding weekends, lock dates early. Give us the group's composition rather than just the number, because five couples and a group of twelve adults with three children need different bedding plans and different kitchen briefs. And if you are undecided between two of the three, tell us what the group intends to do with the days. That question settles it more often than the specification sheet does.
