Viraalay is operated by Manpeksha Hospitality LLP and was founded by Tarun Bafna, Shubham Bafna and Apeksha Talesara, with Kshitij Talesara as Director. The name comes from "Viraasat" (विरासत), meaning tradition, heritage or legacy. The brand positions itself as India's first vegetarian-only villa management company, working with homeowners on an end-to-end management model rather than owning the homes outright.
